About Us

Our Christian based ministry provides spiritual counseling, housing, and temporary employment to men who want to maintain their sobriety, and to those transitioning out of physical, emotional and spiritual imprisonment.  Participants are required to have at least 14 days of sobriety before entering the program.  We give preference to individuals who have been incarcerated for a period of time and have been involved in some sort of re-entry program, and those coming out of substance abuse programs.

The process of liberation depends solely on each individual’s application of Christ’s principles as it pertains to their individual bondage.  Just as Israel was given specific instructions on how to conquer each nation on their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land, Christ gives specific instructions on how to conquer each enemy that stands between us and the manifestation of the true liberty which He has already provided for us.

No matter what you have done, no matter how many “wrong” turns you have made, there is a king in you that can be realized through an obedient relationship with Christ.

Mr. Kevin G. Williams, Damascus House Director, was born in 1963 in Washington, D.C. At a young age he came to Christ during a school mass service and Christ has reigned over his life ever since. However, being saved did not prevent Kevin from having to struggle with his own addiction. He accepted Christ as Savior, but had to learn (through trials and tribulations) to submit to the will of Christ as Lord of his life. This allowed him to eventually take the journey from slavery of addiction to the promised land… “the life he was created to live in”.   Kevin knows personally that “He who the Son sets free is free indeed”. His testimony and God-given vision motivates him to bring men to Christ and help escort them from their personal bondages to freedom in Christ.
